Table Tennis

The table tennis group has two tables; bats are provided for singles and doubles play according to preference. There is a balance of male and female players displaying comparable skill and ability..

The table tennis enthusiasts in our U3A are rewarded with regular games, side-by-side with a fair measure of sociability. Having only two ‘playing tables' and a regular attendance level in the middle to high twenties every two weeks, admittedly we play from 13.00 to 17.00, nonetheless there is a demand that exceeds supply. This ‘non-playing' time is not wasted however, allowing our members to relax and socialise and in December we were fortunate in being able to provide three tables of ten members to support Chairman Geoff's excellent Christmas Lunch.

New members will be made very welcome on the 2nd and 4th and 5th Thursdays each month
