Spanish Conversation

Spanish is among the most popular of all the U3A activities

SPANISH CONVERSATION
Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Fridays at 1000 in the WOMENS INSTITUTE which is opposite Christ Church Aughton. A further programme of six meetings has been arranged which start on 26th September next, finishing 12th December 2008.

Please ring the leader, Brian Mort if you are interested in joining.

SPANISH CONVERSATION 2
A second group meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 1400 - 1600 at St Gregory's Church Hall, Lydiate. Meetings resume on 25th September 2008. Please phone Mike Stephens if you would like to join this group

As the leader of one of the two parallel groups of Continuation Spanish, (the more recently formed one and therefore the one with room for more people), I wonder how long beginners remain beginners, and whether any would care to step up eventually ( from Mike)

If you are wondering about the standard, here are a few remarks. No two people are at the same level, so I try not to put anyone on the spot by asking direct questions. I prefer instead to ask a question generally and individuals may answer if they wish. You can therefore say as much or as little as you like. No pressure! How easily can you understand the following?

Are you still reading?  If so, ¡hasta la vista!

Please see the newsletter for the phone numbers of the leaders and co-ordinators
