The choir meets on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at Aughton Village Hall 1000–1200. We have a regular attendance of 25 to 30 people, and you are assured of a very warm welcome. The U3A choir continues to flourish in both quantity and quality of music performed by the enthusiastic membership. We have performed at a variety of locations besides Aughton Village Hall. We have been invited to sing at the latter venue in a concert organised by Cancer Research North West. This will take place on Friday 14th May 2010. New members (especially men) will be made most welcome. The Choir, under the baton of Ken Tinnion, undertook their first public engagement on 16 June as guests of Halsall St Cuthbert's Parish Church in a “Songs of Praise”.
