Jazz Appreciation

Don't forget the 3rd Friday of each month at our regular venue at the Scout & Guide HQ. Bring your own drinks and nibbles, enjoy the company and the music.   It's just £1 a head (to cover venue costs) for each  regular evening at the Scout & Guide HQ - where can you find such fine entetainment at this price? 

We look forward to welcoming old and new members of U3A from 7.30pm until around 10.15pm, when everyone folds up their tables, stacks their chairs and clears away the debris of yet another wonderful evening.  Come and join in!

All members are most welcome to attend.  £1 a head to cover room costs.

Friday 20th January. With our leader Keith Lamb, we will look at songs beginning with ‘C’, and highlight Ottillie Paterson, and in the second half, Ellington meets Greig.

Friday 17 February we will move onto songs beginning with ‘D’ and highlight in the first half the Louis Armstrong all stars and in the second half the Mezzrow-Bechet Hot Four.

In March we are hosting Manchester Jazz at Aughton Village Hall. Tickets will be on sale first of all to Group members at regular
meetings in the new year.
