The Group meets at a member's house on Thursday evenings 7-30-9.30pm.

Activities include exploring chords and song accompaniment using both brush strokes and finger picking styles, ensemble playing, melodic improvisation to chord sequences and, for those who wish, easy solo pieces. The ability to read music is not necessary; but helps! If you don't read however, come along and learn!

Beginners are welcome but need to have their own guitar, preferably a nylon-strung Spanish, or Classical style acoustic one, and must be prepared to both attend regularly and to practise!
