Drama

The Drama Group meet every Friday at 1.30p.m. at Scout Headquarters. We present two productions a year, with a one-act play in the first half and a variety of entertainment in the second half. We are a very active, happy and friendly group and welcome new members. We need, not only actors and singers, but also back-stage people who can sew, paint, or are handy with a hammer.

We are at present rehearsing for a show in November. The first half is a comedy, which has already been cast. The second half is a musical entertainment. Any members who would like to join us can take part in this, or alternately can help backstage. Our aim is to have fun whilst learning about the theatre and putting on a performance and entertaining our audience. Eveyone is sure of a warm welcome, so why not come and make new friends.
