| The U3A cycle group rides take place on the 3rd Friday of each month from April to October at 10.00am with the provision that should the weather be bad we will try again the following Friday. The rides will initially be 10-12 miles long using mainly country lanes and off road tracks where possible and should take approximately 2 hours.
Clothing for cycling should be appropriate and comfortable for the day. For your own safety, we do advise that you wear a high-visibility jacket or other light-coloured clothing, and that you use a cycle helmet, though this is not compulsory.
Any prospective cyclists should make sure that their bike is in proper working order.
For further information please contact the group co-ordinator, Roy Jenkinson on 01744 889033 or at roy_joan2000@yahoo.co.uk
