AGM Agenda and reports for 2006

The 3rd AGM was held on 4th May 2006 and 304 members attended to hear and approve the Committee, Sub Committee reports, accept the Financial Report & Accounts, agree changes in Constitution and to elect new Committee.

We also heard Alex McMinn's retiring chairman's report (he is staying on the Committee) and marked his "retirement" with gifts to Kath & Alex - a rose bush and a DAB radio respectively. Our new chairman Geoff Maitland looked forward to his 2 years of office and introduced Lin Jonas the U3A National Organiser, her fascinating talk about National services and events have inspired us as we plan an exiting future.
